Drink and Drive Pricing in Colombo
Published rates for every ride, worked out before your driver even leaves. Distance, waiting time, and pickup location are all that change your fare.
Our standard rates
One meter, five numbers. Here's exactly what you pay.
- First 10 kmRs. 2,500
Covers pickup to drop-off for the first 10 kilometres of your ride.
- Every extra kilometreRs. 100/ km
Charged for each kilometre travelled beyond the first 10 km.
- Rides after 3 AMRs. 3,000first 10 km
After 3 AM, the base fare for the first 10 km is Rs. 3,000 instead of Rs. 2,500. Extra kilometres are still Rs. 100 each.
- Waiting timeFreefirst 15 min before the trip
Before the trip starts, the first 15 minutes of waiting are free, then Rs. 350 per 15 minutes. Once the trip has started, every 15 minutes of waiting is Rs. 350.
- Out of the Colombo district+ Rs. 500flat fee
A flat Rs. 500 applies when your pickup or drop-off falls outside our regular coverage area.

18 km, no waiting. Rs. 2,500 for the first 10 km, plus 8 extra km at Rs. 100.
- A ride with a waitRs. 4,000
18 km, driver waits 30 minutes before the trip and 15 minutes during it. Rs. 3,300 for the ride, plus Rs. 700 waiting: before the trip the first 15 minutes are free and the next 15 are Rs. 350, then Rs. 350 for the 15 minutes during the trip.

18 km, drop-off outside our coverage area. Rs. 3,300 for the ride, plus the flat Rs. 500 outside-area fee.

How much does a designated driver cost in Colombo?
Rs. 2,500 covers the first 10 km (Rs. 3,000 after 3 AM), then Rs. 100 for every extra kilometre. How much does it cost to hire a driver to take my car home?
The same rate card applies. Distance, waiting time and pickup location are all that change your fare, and it covers you and your own car. For example, an 18 km ride with no waiting comes to Rs. 3,300 (Rs. 2,500 plus 8 extra km at Rs. 100).
What if my pickup or drop-off is outside your coverage area?
Message us and we'll say what we can arrange. Where it's possible, a flat Rs. 500 is added when your pickup or drop-off is outside our regular coverage area.
